Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone who has experience dealing with customers daily and provides exceptional IT support. You should have a solid background in supporting Windows Desktop, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory, along with advanced knowledge of Microsoft products. Familiarity with a ticketing system is necessary, and a basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, and switches is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will need to convey technical information clearly. We value a team player with a 'can-do' attitude who takes ownership of their work and strives for process improvement. A passion for IT is a must.
While not essential, having experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is highly desirable. Additionally, relevant qualifications such as Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, ITIL knowledge or certification, CompTIA IT Fundamentals+, and customer service training would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
In the role of Technical Support Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for IT support queries, handling requests via phone and our ticket system. You will provide 1st line remote support and escalate issues when needed. Your responsibilities will include managing customer requests such as installations, user account changes, and updates, along with carrying out daily and weekly security, health, and backup checks. You will contribute to and enhance our knowledge base system, assist project engineers on various client projects, and offer basic training and guidance to customers. You may also contact third-party vendors when necessary.
