Requirements
Must:
- I require candidates to be fully eligible to work in the UK without restrictions.
- Ability to travel to the North East on occasion is essential.
- A strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, WAN/LAN, and routing protocols is necessary.
- Previous experience in a similar role is expected.
- Hands-on experience with the entire Cisco Stack is a must.
- Proficiency in log analysis, alerting tools, and backup management is important.
- I am looking for someone who has experience managing network projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- I envision you leading end-to-end network projects, including design, implementation, documentation, and support.
- You will provide 3rd line support and act as an escalation point for network-related issues.
- Performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes will be part of your role.
- I need you to maintain network configuration backups and monitor logs for operational insights.
- Supporting both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure is crucial.
- You will also create and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.
