Must:
As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience working as a technician with a proven track record of resolving advanced technical support issues.
- Professional IT Certifications, such as Microsoft MCP, MCSA, MCSE, or CompTIA Network Plus.
- Advanced experience and knowledge of the Microsoft 365 Platform, and proficiency in troubleshooting Teams, Outlook, One Drive, and SharePoint.
- Experience working with servers, networking, and Wi-Fi.
- Familiarity with using ticketing systems and remote management tools.
- Ability to deploy laptop/PC images to new or replacement devices, ensuring proper configuration and setup for users, and maintaining consistency and security across all devices.
- A passion for solving problems and challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening.
- A full driver’s license with access to your own vehicle.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the technical lead for key IT projects, with prior experience in a variety of technical topics including Server Upgrades and Network Installations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the primary or secondary point of contact for clients reaching out with issues.
- Taking ownership of tickets and seeing them through from start to finish with assistance from the manager.
- Providing a high level of customer service, ensuring all clients have a friendly, quick, and helpful experience.
- Working on and resolving escalated helpdesk tickets.
- Resolving client issues through advanced remote troubleshooting.
- Providing remote hardware maintenance and support, as well as participating in project work and onsite support deployments.
