Must:
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
- Experience leading the technical development of data analytics projects, taking ownership for designing and building innovative data solutions.
- Ability to influence, challenge, and upskill stakeholders at all levels, specifically to enhance the rollout and adoption of Power BI.
- Support in setting the direction and vision of Data Analytics and Reporting, putting in place frameworks and guidance to support colleagues in reaching this vision, instilling a culture of quality, reliability, and innovation in the team.
- At least 3+ years of experience using Power BI, with full competency in the tool, architecture, roadmap features, and solid experience in Power BI administration.
- Experienced in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues in technical skills.
- Expert working knowledge of scripting/programming languages: DAX, SQL, Python, or R.
- Insight into data lake architecture and cloud technologies.
- Data Analytics & Reporting related industry-recognized certification would be highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
As the Lead Data Analytics Engineer, you will be accountable for driving the reporting vision and strategy to enable data-driven decision-making across the firm. You will report to the Data Solutions Manager and join a team of dedicated data engineers and analysts to enhance our firm's data management practices.

This role can be based out of any of our UK offices, and our standard working hours are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. However, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.

We typically hold two interview stages per vacancy, providing the opportunity to meet two members of the hiring team at each stage. The first stage is typically conducted virtually and the second stage typically in person at the office in which the role would be based.
