We are looking for the ideal candidate who possesses the following:
- A degree in an ICT discipline or demonstrable extensive equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a senior management role within a large, complex organization delivering mission-critical services.
- Expertise in coordinating and managing multi-skilled technical teams across multiple sites.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Experience in managing substantial ICT budgets effectively.
- A well-developed understanding of business planning, target setting, and performance monitoring.
- Deep knowledge of current industry standards and future technologies.
- Advanced proficiency in major incident management and business continuity/disaster recovery activities.
Responsibilities
In the role of Head of ICT Infrastructure, I will lead a dynamic team of skilled professionals and oversee the delivery of robust, secure, and reliable ICT services across Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies. As a member of the Senior Management Team, I will participate in the design and delivery of the entire ICT business plan, with specific responsibilities that include:
- Leading the coordination and management of multidisciplinary technical teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Managing large-scale ICT budgets with precision, driving performance monitoring and ensuring business continuity through advanced incident management and disaster recovery strategies.
- Leveraging in-depth understanding of industry trends and technologies to guide our ICT infrastructure into the future.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders both inside and outside the Constabularies, while showcasing exceptional communication and influencing skills.
