Requirements
Must:
- Extensive software development experience, ideally with the following technologies: Java, C#, DevOps, Python, and Cloud (AWS or Azure).
- Deep understanding of designing scalable, high-performance systems, including microservices, cloud-native architectures, and distributed systems.
- Ability to provide broad and detailed technical development support.
- A track record of collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.
- Proven background in successfully leading teams and delivering complex software products at scale.
- Proven ability to set and communicate long-term technical visions that align with our business goals.
- You must be UK-based and have the right to work in the UK to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 10-12 engineers.
- Foster a culture of excellence, trust, and high performance.
- Drive Agile development and own team performance metrics.
- Deliver hands-on software engineering where needed, especially for prototyping.
- Maintain and evolve ISO 27001 certification and security posture.
- Oversee IT systems (Office 365, GitHub, Atlassian, AWS).
- Handle hiring, performance management, and team growth.
