Requirements
Must:
- I am seeking candidates with hands-on experience working with Teradata and other Data Warehouses.
- A deep expertise in Teradata architecture, star schema, snowflake schema, SQL optimization, and Data Modelling is essential.
- I prefer candidates who have experience in the implementation of Teradata utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT, etc.) for efficient data loading.
- Expertise in Teradata utilities such as Viewpoint, Query Grid, TD Stats, and TDWM is also required.
- A strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and ETL processes is necessary.
- Candidates should have experience with Teradata performance tuning, workload management (TASM), and partitioning strategies.
- Experience with Teradata in GCP is a plus.
Responsibilities
- You will be joining my team to contribute to a transformation project that involves Teradata systems.
- I expect you to work onsite in London two days a week, while the remaining days can be from home.
- Your work will include implementing best practices for data loading and optimization within the Teradata architecture.
- You will also focus on performance tuning and workload management to ensure efficiency in our data processes.
