Must:
I am looking for candidates with previous experience in an IT Manager or senior IT leadership role. You should have a strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and networking. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to lead a team effectively and communicate clearly. Comfort in working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines is necessary, as is a sound knowledge of cybersecurity and risk management. Experience with server implementation, system administration, and software deployment is also required. A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred, and certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, or CISSP would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
In this hands-on leadership role, I will expect you to develop and implement IT strategies that align with our business objectives. You will lead and deliver software and infrastructure projects across departments while maintaining and upgrading our networks, hardware, servers, and operating systems. It will be your responsibility to manage our cybersecurity policies and ensure best practices for data protection. You will lead and support a small internal IT team, monitor system performance, and resolve technical issues promptly. Additionally, you will oversee IT budgets and ensure cost-effective technology investments. Providing internal technical support and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives will also be part of your role, along with maintaining documentation and enforcing IT policies and procedures.
