Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- 2–3 years' IT support experience (preferably in an education environment)
- Strong working knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, and networking
- Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- A professional, client-focused attitude with the ability to work independently
Bonus skills (not essential but desirable):
- Experience with Unifi, Aruba, or Meraki wireless solutions
- Familiarity with MDM tools (Meraki, Jamf, Lightspeed, Apple Configurator)
- Knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune administration
- Experience with AV installation and 3CX administration
Responsibilities
In this varied and hands-on position, you will:
- Provide on-site and remote IT support for desktops, laptops, servers, and networks
- Support and manage VMware/Hyper-V environments and Windows Server systems
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Conduct hardware and software installations, updates, and backups
- Troubleshoot complex IT issues with professionalism and efficiency
- Support AV equipment and device imaging as required
