Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess a degree in Computer Science, GIS, Geography, or a related field. You should have experience in data engineering and a strong background in geospatial-related software. Ideal candidates will demonstrate skills in Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and GIS software such as QGIS and other desktop GIS packages. Familiarity with AWS and FME for data integration is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for developing data pipelines and managing databases. You will analyze and visualize GIS data, develop Python scripts to automate data ingestion, and test and validate data manipulation and cleansing. Additionally, you will create tiles from datasets while collaborating with a cross-functional team, including data analysts, developers, and key stakeholders.
