Must:
We are looking for a candidate with significant IT leadership experience, particularly within the education sector, either in a college or a multi-academy trust. You must have experience in setting up and delivering an IT strategy and demonstrate a successful history of leading an IT team to ensure high levels of IT support are provided.
Responsibilities
As the Director of IT, you will oversee the IT provision across all schools and the central team. You will lead a team of 10 IT specialists to deliver the highest level of support, drive the IT strategy, and provide technical expertise. Your role will include managing IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with a strict cyber policy, working closely with the senior leadership team, and communicating upcoming IT changes and projects to individual schools. You will collaborate with your team, which includes infrastructure engineers, a technical specialist, and technicians, to ensure successful delivery of IT projects and support, particularly focusing on Microsoft 365 and system integrations.
Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT leader from the education sector to join our growing team based in Liverpool, where flexibility with hybrid working is offered, although on-site presence may be required up to five days a week during certain weeks. We offer a competitive salary between £51,000 and £53,000, which will be reviewed annually, along with 28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
