Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess a strong educational background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Finance. To excel in this role, you should have at least one year of experience working as a Data Scientist and have experience with PowerBI, Qlik, or similar technologies for building visualization pipelines. Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems for product, sales, and pricing data is essential. Proficiency in Python and some knowledge of querying databases is also required. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of machine learning techniques such as clustering, decision trees, and neural networks, including their real-world advantages and drawbacks.
Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist in our organization, you will analyze and identify insights, develop and deploy data-driven solutions, and build and maintain data pipelines. You will be a key contributor to future business changes, working collaboratively within a cross-functional team in a fast-paced and enjoyable environment.

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive base salary of up to ÂŁ55,000, depending on experience, along with a benefits package that includes 25 days of holiday from the start (rising to 27 days), an extra day off for your birthday, an additional day off for volunteering or charity events, an income protection scheme, a holiday purchase scheme, and enhanced maternity, shared parental, paternity, and adoption pay. This opportunity allows for a hybrid work setup, with a requirement for a fortnightly visit to our office in Basingstoke. Please note that you must have the independent right to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship support to join our team.
