Requirements
Must:
- I have a demonstrable track record in an applications support role focused on IT applications software rather than IT infrastructure.
- I possess strong experience in supporting SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL-based solutions.
- I have expertise in working with dashboard and reporting systems such as Power BI and Qliksense.
- I have experience in the proactive management of applications upgrades, patches, and fixes.
- I have a working knowledge of ITIL processes (change/problem/incident management) and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- I will provide technical triaging and 2nd line applications support across the business.
- I will ensure that the correct priority and severity are assigned to all application issues.
- I will work alongside colleagues in the Technical and Service Management teams to leverage the necessary skills for fault resolution.
- I will ensure that acceptable workarounds are in place and that lasting solutions are delivered within service levels.
- I will engage fully with internal stakeholders to re-assign faults and issues where necessary.
Description
I have an urgent need for an experienced Applications Support Analyst to join my specialist team, supporting a range of new and heritage applications across the business. The focus of this role is on applications support rather than IT infrastructure. I seek a candidate who enjoys a broad and varied role in a fast-paced environment, where the ability to prioritize quickly and assuredly will be of great benefit. I invite you to join a collaborative applications support team that interacts well together, as you will need to work closely with technical staff as well as a large user base.
