Must:
We require candidates who have:
- Previous experience working as a Database Engineer, designing, building, and maintaining scalable data platforms for corporate clients.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Experience with Postgres databases.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Excellent Linux systems skills.
- Familiarity with database security and performance monitoring.
- An understanding of automated deployment and infrastructure tools.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Play a key part in the implementation and configuration of our database services, including some newSQL solutions.
- Engage in hands-on technical work, supporting the delivery of high-performance platforms for global use.
Description
This position is a 12-month contract located in central Glasgow with a hybrid work model of three days onsite each week. We are looking for someone with solid hands-on experience in modern database systems and a strong technical foundation.
