Must:
We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer who possesses demonstrable experience in leading data engineering projects. You should have a proactive and creative approach, with the ability to design, architect, and maintain data solutions. Collaboration with other teams is essential, and you should stay updated with emerging technical trends. Experience with cloud technologies (AWS or Azure), proficiency in PowerBI, and programming skills in Python or Java are required. Comfort working within an Agile environment is also important. While not essential, knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will rely on you to design and implement complex data flows that connect operational systems, build and maintain data environments, and evaluate and develop tools to enhance our data analytics platforms. You will also identify opportunities to reuse existing data flows between teams, ensuring we leverage our resources effectively. Additionally, you will play a critical role in mentoring others and establishing best practices and standards within the team.

This is a unique opportunity to join an international tech company working on a significant UK Government programme, where your contributions can make a real impact. The compensation package includes a salary of up to £100k, along with benefits such as private healthcare and a pension matched up to 8%.
