Requirements
Must:
- You hold a degree with a 2.1 or above in a relevant discipline such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Informatics, or Engineering.
- You possess strong experience with analytics and data manipulation software, including R, Python, PySpark, SAS, SQL, and SPSS.
- You adopt a consultative approach and have polished communication and stakeholder management skills.
- You are capable of working independently and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
- You have experience working in specialized consulting firms, top-tier banking, or financial institutions.
Responsibilities
- As a Data Scientist / Consultant, you will focus on one project at a time, working closely with clients mainly in finance, banking, and major retail sectors.
- You will manage data projects end-to-end, which includes gathering client requirements, managing data collection, creating models, and conducting analyses.
- Your role will involve conducting primary and secondary research, addressing information limitations, and producing insights.
- You will oversee the work of data analysts to ensure that project deliverables are completed to a high standard.
Description
- You will join our team in Central Newcastle three days a week in a hybrid work-from-home model, with occasional visits to client sites (all travel and expenses will be fully paid).
