Requirements
Must:
- A strong interest in IT and good working knowledge of both hardware and software systems.
- Awareness of current IT trends and a willingness to learn on the job.
- A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
- IT-related qualification (preferred but not essential).
- Ideally, 1 year of experience in technical support and/or customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support to customers via email and telephone, troubleshooting issues efficiently and effectively.
- Train new users and deliver online demonstrations of our in-house software systems.
- Manage support inbox queries, filing completed tickets and ensuring prompt responses.
- Administer Office 365 licenses, user accounts, and software deployments.
- Remotely connect to customer systems to diagnose and resolve technical problems.
- Use Microsoft Excel for data formatting and importing into databases.
- Handle virtual machine (VM) support, onboarding of customer environments, and pipeline management.
- Assist with the testing and rollout of new software updates.
- Track and analyze recurring issues to improve long-term support outcomes.
