Requirements
Must:
- Experience in network/infrastructure installation (rack & stack, cabling, patching).
- Proficiency with Cisco Switches, Layer 2.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (Layer 1–3).
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with UPS systems, structured cabling, and troubleshooting.
- Organized, detail-driven, and customer-focused mindset.
- UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Deploying and installing network and server hardware across data centre and edge sites.
- Structured cabling (fibre and copper), patching, labelling, and cable management.
- Supporting hardware configuration and network provisioning.
- Maintaining accurate documentation (cabling, IP addresses, asset tracking).
- Conducting on-site diagnostics, device swaps, and project support alongside senior engineers.
- Serving in a field-based role, working four days per week with occasional weekends or out-of-hours support.
