Must:
We are looking for an experienced Aerial and Satellite Engineer, preferably an ex-Sky Satellite Dish or UHF TV Aerial Installer/Engineer, who lives near our Engineer's store in Glasgow G41. You should have knowledge of RF, Wi-Fi networks, and data cabling. A full driver's license is essential, and you must be confident in driving a van. Additionally, you should be physically capable of using ladders and power tools. Training on commercial RF distribution and IPTV systems can be provided.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will support several TV reception systems contracts across Scotland for various commercial clients. This includes installing and maintaining Sky Systems in pubs and gyms, UHF and Satellite TV reception systems in hotels, and SIS TV reception equipment in betting shops and similar environments such as casinos and racecourses. You will also be responsible for the upkeep of AV and Wi-Fi networks.
Description
We offer a competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £30,000 per year, depending on your experience. You will also receive a £2,500 on-call allowance, plenty of overtime opportunities (averaging £3,000 per annum), and a company van. This is a full-time permanent PAYE position that includes paid holidays, a pension plan, uniform, tools, and expenses such as fuel and parking. Our total pay range is between £30,500.00 and £32,500.00 per year.
