- SD-WAN experience, ideally with Fortinet/Fortigate (critical requirement).

Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide inspirational leadership to our network team, responsible for keeping our mission-critical network running smoothly across over 200 sites in the South East, including stations, depots, offices, and data centres. You will play a vital role in shaping the future of our connectivity as we finalize our transition from a legacy setup to a modern Fortinet SD-WAN infrastructure.
You will be accountable for the performance and security of the organization's network, collaborating with our network circuit providers and core switch support partners to ensure maximum network uptime while maintaining the integrity, security, and performance of network traffic. Additionally, you will lead ad-hoc business projects as our network subject matter expert and contribute significantly to IT governance.

We are seeking an IT Network Manager to join our team based at our Head Office in London Bridge with hybrid working options. As one of Britain's busiest train operators, we run over 1,700 trains a day, serving London, Kent, and parts of East Sussex, carrying more than 500,000 passengers and serving 180 stations.
