Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the IT sector. - Strong understanding of business IT strategy, communications, and technical topologies. - Experience in managing IT budget and supplier governance frameworks. - Knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation and cyber security best practices. - Ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a culture of training and development. - Strong project management skills, covering resources, time, and risk. - Excellent communication skills to provide updates and engage with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Lead our IT organization, aligning it with the overall business strategy to maximize the value of investments in IT services and personnel. - Oversee the day-to-day governance of IT suppliers, including managing bid processes and meetings (WBR, MBR, QBR). - Implement and maintain a Cyber security-first mindset across the organization. - Set and manage the IT budget, ensuring spending stays within pre-agreed limits. - Act as the connecting link between IT and business, ensuring compliance with the Group IT strategy. - Motivate and inspire the IT department by delivering innovative strategies that enhance overall business efficiency using existing and emerging Business Information Systems. - Ensure skill levels within the team are maintained through effective training and development programs. - Provide accountability for the delivery of all IT services, whether internally or externally. - Serve as the final escalation point for service-related issues, proactively seeking and delivering resolutions. - Chair and participate in various meetings to ensure that the IT strategy meets the needs of all business change programs and initiatives. - Manage end-to-end project management within the IT division, ensuring resources are utilized effectively and risks are managed. - Collaborate with the Head of Solutions to align budget control and communication updates. - Ensure service tickets are handled by the correct personnel and that adequate system controls are in place to track activities.
