Requirements
Must:
- I have proven experience in a D365 Business Central development or a technical SME role.
- I possess expertise in AL language and the Business Central development environment.
- I have a strong understanding of finance modules, such as General Ledger and Accounts Payable/Receivable.
- I have solid knowledge of SQL, APIs, and system integration techniques.
- I can effectively translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- I have experience with ERP upgrades, system migrations, and best practices for configuration.
- I am familiar with compliance and data security standards, such as GDPR and DORA.
- I demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- I have at least 5 years of hands-on ERP/Business Central experience and exposure to Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
- I have experience in multi-national or high-compliance environments and an understanding of project management and system lifecycle processes.
Responsibilities
- I will design, develop, and maintain customizations and extensions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL.
- I will lead system upgrades, patches, and integration efforts with internal and external systems.
- I will engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop functional and technical specifications.
- I will optimize Business Central configuration and performance.
- I will provide technical support and troubleshooting for BC and related financial systems.
- I will maintain clear documentation and ensure compliance with GDPR and DORA regulations.
- I will support reporting and data extraction using SQL and other tools.
- I will keep up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in the ERP and financial systems space.
Description
- I am offering a hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of two days per week in the office located in Salford (MediaCityUK area).
- The salary for this position ranges from £48,000 to £50,000 per year.
