Must:
We are looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst with proven 1st line support experience (at least 2 years) in a similar role. You should be proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft 365, and possess excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems (2016, 2019) is essential. A strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work under pressure are crucial for this role. Additionally, you should be able to lift moderate weights, such as computer display units. Desirable experience includes networking technologies like TCP/IP, DNS, LAN, WAN, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware, iOS/iPad, SolarWinds, and Web Help Desk. Qualifications needed are GCSEs at Grade C or above in English and Mathematics or equivalent, as well as industry-standard computing qualifications such as Microsoft and CompTIA certifications. An ITIL Foundation Qualification is a plus.
Responsibilities
As an IT Service Desk Analyst, I will rely on you to answer all initial IT support calls and manage 1st line support tickets. You will be responsible for managing the Service Desk platform, prioritizing and escalating tickets when necessary. Additionally, you will assist with onboarding new starters, providing hardware support, managing our mobile estate, and handling IT communications.
