Requirements
Must:
- Deep expertise in RHEL9/Linux environments
- Proven track record in PostgreSQL HA & replication
- Strong hands-on experience with Pacemaker clustering and resource management
- Knowledge of fencing mechanisms (IPMI/virsh)
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ HA queues or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Available for immediate start
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and support high availability clustering with Pacemaker and PostgreSQL
- Manage hot standby promotion using OCF and asynchronous WAL replication to multiple replicas
- Implement fencing (IPMI/virsh) in VM-based (non-container) environments
- Configure and support RabbitMQ with HA queues (or similar message queue systems)
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure reliable failover and recovery processes
Description
We are seeking an experienced HA/Clustering Engineer to support the implementation of a high availability PostgreSQL cluster using Pacemaker on RHEL9/Linux environments. This is a short-term contract opportunity for a senior specialist who can provide hands-on expertise and guide project delivery.
