- Ability to follow someone else's test plan
- Experience in executing a test plan
- Attention to detail and an inquisitive nature
- Confidence to challenge colleagues and stand one's ground
- Some experience with automation is preferred
- Good to have subject matter expertise (SME) from within the business
- Ability to work without constant direction and self-direct, while also knowing when to ask for help
- Capability to write a basic test plan following a template or pattern

Responsibilities
- Keep test cases up to date
- Collaborate with testers, developers, and Product Managers to create test cases and scripts for new projects and existing sites/functions
- Triaging issues reported as bugs to verify their reproducibility
- Contribute to the overall test team culture by suggesting improvements and new ways of working
- Conduct testing across desktop, web, mobile/responsive design, and APIs
- Report progress, escalate issues, and highlight potential problems
- Manage and prioritize personal workload, identifying conflicting resource requirements and raising these as needed
- Execute test cases/scripts during development and deployment

Description
In this role, I will help the Technology team confidently build and release working software within agreed timescales. Success in this position requires a solid understanding of how testing works, mastering our processes, and showing an aptitude for testing. I am committed to skills development and progression to higher roles. I will work with Senior/Test Leads to deliver system tests and acceptance test activities, collaborate closely with web and desktop developers to ship working software in increments, and focus on continuous learning and development. I value guidance and mentorship from experienced team members and am eager to gather and prepare test data and test cases with support. My aim is to grow towards professional qualifications and certifications in testing.
