I am looking for candidates who have previous experience working in a field technical support environment within the MFP/copier/print arena. You should possess the ability to think through problems in a logical manner to enable speedy and accurate resolution of issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to ensure first-class customer service.

In this role, I will expect you to provide technical assistance within the timescales specified by SLAs. You will effectively investigate and rectify faults, perform routine maintenance and modifications/updates as required, and provide support during installations. It is important for you to understand and be fully conversant with SLAs relating to assigned accounts and comprehend the solutions in use, allowing you to carry out basic fault finding. Additionally, you will back up colleagues when necessary, log call details using the call logging system within agreed timescales, and report recurring faults to enable proactive management. You will also be responsible for sharing your expertise and technical information with team members, building relationships with key stakeholder accounts at all times, maintaining boot stock and/or site stock at specified levels, and attending product courses as requested to ensure your knowledge base is sufficient for the role.

This position is for a Photocopier Field Service Engineer at a high-end premium IT, communication, and managed document solutions provider. The location of this role is in Kent/Dover/CT, and we offer a package of up to £32,000, which includes a vehicle, laptop, phone, 25 days of holiday, and a pension scheme. My aim is to ensure that you provide our customers with a professional and efficient technical support service, ensuring full customer satisfaction while leading, guiding, and supporting a team of technicians to deliver a very high level of technical effectiveness, product knowledge, and customer care.
