Must:
We are looking for someone who has previous experience in 2nd/3rd line IT support roles. Essential qualifications include experience administering Microsoft Entra ID and/or Google Workspace, creating and managing Microsoft Azure Subscriptions, using mobile device management tools (ideally InTune or Jamf), and supporting multiple SaaS applications. You should also have experience providing hardware support to end users and managing asset registers. A background in troubleshooting various issues across different systems and conducting in-depth investigations is essential.
Additionally, it would be nice if you have worked in a Cyber Essentials/ISO certified environment, have experience working with remote users, and have knowledge of Apple Device Support. Familiarity with IT Security practices such as implementing SSO and MDM policy design and implementation, as well as knowledge or experience of ITIL best practices, would also be beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be part of the IT Support team in a third-line support capacity. Your responsibilities will include assisting users with a wide range of SaaS & PaaS applications and acting as an escalation point within the team. You will manage user onboarding onto internal systems, taking into account access rights, roles, and permissions. Hardware support to end users, including the configuration of new equipment, will also be part of your duties.
You will manage our Software Asset Register (SAR) and Hardware Asset Register (HAR), ensuring high standards for managing our IT estate by creating necessary process and technical documentation. Compliance with information security, governance, and certification standards across the IT estate will be crucial. You will help rationalise and consolidate the current portfolio of applications towards a single, standard set of tools. Your role will involve project delivery with the business, providing service introduction or improvements, and leading existing projects to enhance security within the IT function and the wider business. You'll also provide guidance and training to junior team members. You’ll investigate escalated issues and liaise with SaaS suppliers as required.
