Must:
As a DBA Developer, I expect you to have demonstrable experience in all aspects of Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and later, along with strong skills in managing our data warehouse using SSIS and T-SQL. You should have a solid understanding of ETL processes, database schema development, and optimization practices. Experience in writing complex SQL scripts and proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio and SSRS Report development is essential. You will also be required to deal with error handling, transaction management, query optimization, and ensure data compliance with GDPR and other regulations.
Responsibilities
In the role of DBA Developer, you will oversee and maintain our SQL Server databases, ensuring their efficiency for reporting functions. Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing the Data Warehouse primarily using SSIS and T-SQL.
- Acting as a gatekeeper and maintainer of our data ecosystem.
- Creating, developing, and maintaining SQL Server systems and processes to ensure optimization and stability.
- Developing and maintaining SSIS packages for task automation.
- Defining database schema, tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Testing database processes and performing bug fixes.
- Assisting in the migration, optimization, and cleansing of data.
- Helping with out-of-hours releases.
