Requirements
Must:
As a Technical Business Analyst, I need you to determine and articulate comprehensive business requirements (both functional and non-functional). While I am open to candidates from any industry, experience across multiple industries will be advantageous in navigating Saga's diverse portfolio of business units. Other essential skills and experience include:
- Data mapping and ETL processes
- Web Services Design
- Creating/running SQL queries
- Basic exposure to programming
- Understanding of business process modeling, RAD (Role Activity Diagrams), and UML modeling
- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and establish true underlying requirements
- Proficiency in eliciting requirements using various techniques such as site visits, interviews, research, observation, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process reviews, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow
- Strong capability to create and deliver clear presentations and facilitate workshops to agree on requirements and solutions
- Understanding of change management
- Demonstrated experience (both technical and business-centric) with application solutions
Responsibilities
In my role as a Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with project definition, translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Acting as an interface for technical delivery both internally and with third-party partners and service providers
- Supporting multidisciplinary teams in designing, developing, documenting, testing, and delivering solution designs
- Documenting designs and requirements necessary for proposed updates
- Facilitating Data Mapping workshops and documenting future state data architecture
- Ensuring proposed technical solutions are achievable and fully documented in collaboration with technical teams
- Proactive stakeholder engagement
- Collaborating with developers and subject matter experts to establish technical vision
- Assisting with the review of test scripts to ensure functional requirements are being met
- Assisting with defect triage
- Challenging business units on their assumptions regarding execution plans
- Adhering to Company and Departmental standards while recommending improvements
- Engaging in architectural strategy, governance, and policy
