Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience with SQL, including complex query writing and performance optimization.
- Skills in Power BI and data visualization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to confidently communicate and simplify technical topics for non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
As a Business Intelligence Developer, I will:
- Develop and maintain robust SQL queries and stored procedures for ETL processes across varied data sources.
- Design and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
- Ensure high data quality and integrity across reporting environments.
- Contribute to data governance efforts and uphold best-practice standards.
- Remain up to date on emerging trends and technologies within the BI space.
Description
In addition to the essential qualifications, experience in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools, familiarity with public sector finance or pension schemes, and an understanding of data governance and compliance standards are desirable.
