Must:
I am looking for candidates who have expertise in Ansible for database server configurations and experience with DevOps automation tools such as Git, JIRA, and database CI/CD tools. A good working knowledge of leading SRE practices across large organizations or complex teams and familiarity with MongoDB is essential. Other highly valued skills include hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes, as well as expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and migration tasks. Candidates may be assessed on key critical skills such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology competencies, in addition to job-specific technical skills.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of systems and services through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and capacity planning. You will be responsible for analyzing and responding to system outages and disruptions, implementing measures to prevent similar incidents from recurring. Additionally, I want you to develop tools and scripts to automate operational processes, thereby reducing manual workload and increasing efficiency while improving system resilience. You will collaborate with development teams to integrate best practices for reliability, scalability, and performance into the software development lifecycle. Furthermore, staying informed of industry technology trends and actively contributing to our technology communities is crucial for fostering a culture of technical excellence and growth.
