Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess extensive experience in Business Intelligence (BI) and SQL development. Strong MI analysis capabilities are essential, along with knowledge of design and architectural patterns in BI. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a must, as is experience working with software suppliers, consultancies, or service providers. You should have the ability to prioritize diverse, complex requirements and demonstrate technical expertise in T-SQL, Power BI, Microsoft SSIS, Microsoft SSRS, and distributed source control systems such as Git or Mercurial. While experience with Snowflake is desirable, it is not essential. Additionally, a solid understanding of insurance terminology will be beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Business Intelligence reports—from analysis and design to development, implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. You will develop and maintain Business Intelligence reports using Power BI and related technologies, and collaborate across teams to analyze and design BI solutions that effectively meet business needs. Your focus will be on ensuring high-quality, reliable data insights and reporting outputs, engaging with stakeholders to prioritize and deliver complex requirements effectively, and proactively identifying issues early in the software development lifecycle. Additionally, you will support junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing, if applicable.
