Requirements
Must:
- You will be an expert in your field with significant experience in security and compliance management.
- You should be comfortable with the management and complexity of information security.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical solutions to a non-technical audience are essential.
- Adaptability to change is crucial as this is a newly created role.
Responsibilities
- Lead activities that assess, report, and mitigate risk, with a focus on protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of RBL’s information assets.
- Take responsibility for RBL’s information and data protection policies, practices, and settings.
- Lead the design and implementation of robust processes for reviewing and addressing the data security posture of third-party suppliers.
- Develop RBL’s policies and procedures in accordance with industry regulations and standards, such as the Data Protection Act 2018, PCI-DSS, and ISO27001.
- Implement and oversee security awareness training initiatives to ensure adherence to the organization's security protocols.
- Manage and contain security incidents while ensuring continuous improvement in RBL’s security and raising awareness among staff, volunteers, and member communities.
Description
We have an exciting new opportunity for an Information Security and Compliance Manager to join our fantastic Service Delivery team at RBL. This important and newly created role will see you take responsibility for developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and controls to protect RBL data and systems. You will be contracted to your home address and will perform most of your work remotely, with occasional travel (including monthly team meetings) specifically to our London, Haig House office.
