Requirements
Must:
- I have extensive knowledge of IT applications.
- I possess the ability to lead and motivate a team, manage performance, and foster a positive working environment.
- I have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- I can think strategically about technology and how it can be used to drive business objectives.
- I keep abreast of the latest developments in the sector around applications and cloud services, ensuring the best tools and practices are adopted.
- I bring extensive experience in an IT Applications role.
- I hold an ITIL Certification.
- I have a project management qualification, specifically Prince2 or Agile.
- I have experience in managing teams.
Responsibilities
In my role as the IT Applications Change Manager, I will lead the IT applications team, accountable for the operation, maintenance, delivery, and support of business applications. I will develop the applications strategy and roadmap, managing the lifecycle of software applications to ensure they support the business efficiently and align with our strategic objectives. Additionally, I will be responsible for the line management of an IT Trainer, who designs, documents, and delivers training to ensure colleagues are equipped with the necessary technical skills to perform their roles.
