Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in a similar IT Manager or senior IT support role.
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint administration), Intune, and networking (LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls).
- Experience managing Managed Service Providers (MSPs), both in the UK and internationally, with a focus on SLA adherence and performance.
- Ability to effectively manage projects, liaise with stakeholders, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and support of our IT systems across the business.
- Lead, manage, and support the day-to-day operations of the IT function at our Blackburn site.
- Maintain and optimize our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, security systems, and endpoints.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Teams.
- Manage device lifecycle and security policies through Microsoft Intune.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of our systems and data.
- Collaborate with and manage relationships with UK-based and international Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure effective service delivery and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with global IT teams and external vendors to implement and support corporate systems.
- Identify opportunities for improvement through digital solutions and automation.
- Provide first-line support and escalate issues where necessary.
- Develop IT documentation, policies, and procedures in line with best practices and compliance requirements.
