Requirements

Must:
- I am looking for someone who supports the IT & AV technology within key University spaces, including teaching, learning, meeting, and workspaces. - You should proactively monitor and update these technologies, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. - You will take responsibility for one or more technology or area of service, sharing best practices and sector trends. - I need you to manage assigned staff, supporting their development, reviewing performance, and conducting regular 1:1 meetings in accordance with all University policies. - You should liaise with colleagues in Information Services to develop high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective solutions for service provision. This may involve participation in formal project teams or continuous improvement initiatives. - It is essential to ensure accurate recording and updating of all IT hardware assets using the University-designated asset management system. - You also need to ensure that all customer incidents and service requests are logged, progressed, tracked, and concluded satisfactorily via the University-designated Service Management System in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

- I expect you to manage the provision, installation, maintenance, and support of IT & audio-visual technologies across the University estate. - You will oversee and support the assigned Campus IT & AV Technicians with workload allocation and their training development. - As a Senior Campus IT & AV Technician, you will rotationally deputize for the Campus IT & AV Manager when required, taking lead responsibility in one or more technology areas or services.
