Must:
We are looking for candidates with 3-5 years of experience in cyber security roles. You should have hands-on involvement in ensuring compliance with security frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, and eCAF. Proven experience in implementing security systems and/or monitoring tools is essential. You should possess strong knowledge of SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence, and IAM systems. Experience in contributing to enterprise-level security initiatives while aligning with industry standards is required. Additionally, strong collaboration skills are important, especially when working with IT Operations teams and third-party vendors. The ability to generate management reports on security incidents and vulnerabilities is preferred.
Responsibilities
As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will lead the implementation of a new Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensure compliance with security standards. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining cyber security policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks. You will manage compliance with cyber security regulations, standards, and frameworks such as ISO27001, CAF/eCAF, and Cyber Essentials Plus. You will also implement and manage security monitoring tools to detect and respond to security events. Identifying and assessing security risks and vulnerabilities while developing mitigation strategies will be crucial. You will support regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to security policies and provide reporting on security incidents, compliance status, and risk assessments. Collaboration with stakeholders to embed security into business processes and IT operations is also a significant part of your role.
Description
This position is based in Havant and is a full-time role with a hybrid working model (3-4 days per week). It is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a likely extension to a permanent position. The salary for this role ranges from £50,000 to £53,000, plus benefits.
