Requirements
Must:
- At least 1 year of experience running outsourced IT or telecom contracts.
- CIPS Level 4 certification.
- A degree or equivalent in IT, Information Systems, or Business Management.
- ITIL v4 Managing Professional certification or higher.
- Experience managing multi-supplier, outsourced IT & telecom contracts end-to-end.
- An understanding of the Microsoft Cloud environment.
- Experience running IT teams across the Microsoft stack.
- Proven ability to lead RFPs, contract negotiations, and vendor performance reviews.
- Familiarity with tracking SLAs and supporting supplier-led change projects.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR, and risk reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with executives, users, and vendors.
- A data-driven approach focused on cost, service, and risk improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle for 6+ IT/telecom vendors, including contracts, renewals, and performance reviews.
- Oversee daily and weekly SLAs, drive service improvements, and ensure alignment with ITIL metrics.
- Lead the IT governance board by maintaining a risk register and supporting ISO/cybersecurity compliance.
- Control a £700k IT OPEX budget, track costs, and manage the asset register.
- Sponsor supplier-led projects (such as ERP and M365) and build business cases while tracking benefits.
- Communicate clearly with executives and utilize NPS/CSAT metrics to enhance supplier service.
