Requirements

Must:
- You must be a UK citizen. - Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering or technical subject (e.g., electrical engineering or similar). - 3-5 years of experience in a systems engineering role. - Experience in systems requirements management, definition, design, integration, acceptance, and analysis. - Familiarity with model-based design techniques and tools, such as Enterprise Architect. - Knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS or similar). - Understanding of marine electronic equipment and/or the marine environment. - Familiar with military environmental standards (e.g., DEF STAN 00-35, 59-411). - Knowledge and experience of engineering safety-related systems (SIL 2 / 3). - Experience with V&V activities including IADT, Environmental & EMC qualification with external test houses. - INCOSE Associate/Chartered Systems Engineering Professional status is preferred.

Responsibilities

- You will support the planning and conduct of all Systems Engineering activities throughout the SE ‘V’ lifecycle, from concept through to delivery for hardware and software development and in-service support programs. - Your task will be to produce and review project technical documentation to meet project schedules. - You will prepare for and successfully deliver key design reviews (PDR/CDR) in accordance with the program schedule. - You will engage technically with suppliers, ensuring requirements and design baselines are maintained. - Reviewing and challenging technical documentation received from customers and suppliers will be part of your role. - You will support or lead reviews with the customer and key suppliers. - Conducting Technical SE activities to time, cost, and quality while prioritizing work, resolving issues, or escalating as necessary will be essential. - You will drive decision-making processes for exceptional activities or circumstances and deviations. - Supporting risk reviews, program reviews, and design reviews will also be your responsibility.
