Senior Mission Systems Engineer (Onboard Computing)

I am seeking candidates who ideally possess a degree-level qualification in a STEM discipline, HND/HNC, or equivalent experience. You should have proven knowledge of Systems Engineering and the Engineering Lifecycle, typically gained from applying subject knowledge in an integrated platform involving safety and/or security-related activities. Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders at high levels of classification, both nationally and internationally, is essential. Direct experience with complex computing solutions in areas like systems management, avionics/IMA-based solutions, systems integration, safety/security, or equivalent complex programs will be advantageous. A willingness to learn and develop pioneering solutions that meet challenging requirements, while achieving performance and regulatory needs, is also desired. Additionally, you should have experience with engineering and business processes, understanding the implications of decisions on time, cost, and quality, and the ability to support timely and accurate performance reporting. Proven interpersonal and influencing skills to build strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders at all levels are crucial.
