Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to have the following skills and experiences:
*Essential:*
- A degree in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Lifecycle.
- Good knowledge and experience with a wide range of engineering capabilities.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering integration environment.
*Desirable:*
- Good knowledge and experience using a wide range of engineering toolsets.
- Experience in fulfilling ambitious customer requirements within tight timescales and budgets.
Responsibilities
In the role of Systems Engineer Capability Development, you will be responsible for:
- Enhancing and increasing engineering capability by evaluating and implementing new tools and processes for future success.
- Exploring innovative ways of working and thinking outside the box to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Embracing and integrating new tools and technologies to stay ahead of the competition.
- Playing a pivotal role in transforming how products are engineered, contributing to long-term improvements.
- Creating technical documentation in line with Departmental Quality Management Procedures.
- Providing technical support during development, ensuring a clear understanding of product risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
Description
We are located in Warton and offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. The salary for this position is £47,683 plus additional compensation depending on skills and experience.
