Requirements
Must:
- Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent experience in IVVTQA/ITEA for Systems Engineering/Software Engineering or Control Systems Engineering.
- Ability to supervise, coach, and guide junior engineers.
- Competence in using DOORS or similar requirements management and test tools.
- Significant experience (5+ years) in planning and conducting IVVTQA activities within a Systems Engineering lifecycle.
- Natural problem solver, skilled in root cause analysis (RCA) and developing solutions to various problems.
- Previous IVVTQA experience in accordance with Military/Defence/Industry Standards.
- UK citizenship is required for this position.
- Ability to gain and maintain the relevant UK Government security clearance (SC) in line with the job role.
Responsibilities
- Promote best practices for V&V engineering lifecycle activities in accordance with Corporate and Industry standards.
- Conduct V&V activities in compliance with approved management plans, utilizing competent personnel and effective delivery systems.
- Lead and supervise V&V engineers' output as necessary for scoped work package delivery.
- Plan, conduct, and report task activities to meet the quality expectations of V&V and Project management, including:
- Project requirements V&V input,
- Design Estimate compilation,
- Compiling, issuing, and reviewing management plans, processes, and metrics,
- Project Design & Risk reviews,
- IADT activities,
- Reporting task progress to timescale and quality requirements,
- Fault/issue investigation, review, and reporting,
- Implementing project security measures related to V&V activities,
- Reporting to NG management and project teams.
- Apply IVVTQA principles and best practices across the Systems Engineering lifecycle, from requirements and design through integration and V&V stages, supporting the acceptance process.
