Requirements
Must:
We are looking for suitable candidates who are eligible to undergo SC Clearance, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the UK. You must have experience with Java 21 and possess a strong background in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). Additionally, experience in large micro-service architectures and implementing APIs for both internal and external use is essential.
Desirable qualifications include knowledge of MongoDB, Jackson, JAX-RS, mocking frameworks such as Mockito, and messaging platforms like ActiveMQ or Kafka.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be contributing to a complex project with the UK Government. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing Java applications, ensuring they meet the project requirements and industry standards. You will work within a hybrid setup in Leeds, collaborating with other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
