Requirements
Must:
We expect you to have an extensive and demonstrable background in modern software engineering and development practices. You should possess expertise in multiple modern software languages and have experience working within a cloud-native technology stack, specifically using AWS. It's important to have knowledge of modern DevOps practices and the capability to write infrastructure as code. A security-by-design mindset is essential, along with the ability to translate complex business needs into elegant technical solutions. We are looking for someone who can influence stakeholders, senior management, and peers, as well as have experience in coaching and mentoring junior engineers.
It would also be beneficial if you have experience working in the financial services sector, in a scale-up business, with Ruby on Rails (though not necessary), in reactive programming, and in AI/ML engineering.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key member of our small and dynamic team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, testing, deploying, documenting, and maintaining high-quality software.
- Being deeply involved with architecture and tooling decisions.
- Sharing and growing knowledge within the team.
- Coaching and mentoring junior software engineers.
- Ensuring the security of the software stack and all LendingCrowd applications.
