Must:
As an eFX Software Engineer, I expect you to have strong experience in software engineering, architecture, and database design. You should possess expert-level Java development skills, including low-GC and lock-free patterns. A proven background in FX trading systems, pricing, and risk management is essential, along with a deep understanding of CPU architecture, cache optimization, and Linux performance tuning. Expertise in networking and messaging protocols (TCP, UDP, Multicast, FIX) is also required. Additionally, knowledge of quantitative instruments and algorithmic trading is important. You should have experience implementing controls in automated trading environments and be skilled in TDD, automated testing frameworks, CI/CD, and API design. The ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions is necessary for this role.
Responsibilities
In your role, you will lead the design and development of secure, high-performance eFX systems. You will define and evolve Java patterns and techniques optimized for ultra-low latency and architect fault-tolerant, scalable trading systems. You will influence technical strategy, architecture, and product roadmaps. Collaboration with multiple teams will be crucial as you work to deliver best-in-class E-trading platforms and ensure all solutions meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
