Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background in network infrastructure and security operations. You should have experience with vulnerability assessments, incident response, and security tools. Knowledge of enterprise networking, including wired, wireless, and remote access, is essential. Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and reporting solutions is also required. Additionally, we seek individuals with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in project and change management environments will be a significant advantage.
Responsibilities
As a Security Analyst (Networks), you will serve as a key reference point for network security, advising IT teams and stakeholders. You will perform vulnerability assessments, conduct audits, and continuously monitor network traffic for anomalies. Responding to security incidents will be part of your role, where you will develop remediation strategies and incident reports. You'll provide 2nd and 3rd line support for network services, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolutions. Additionally, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and improvement of our network infrastructure. Leading the efforts in monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools for networks and applications will be crucial. You'll also support and integrate security principles across teams through guidance and training. Finally, you'll participate in project and change management, offering your expertise on network security during the planning and delivery phases.
Description
This position is based in Uxbridge with a hybrid work model that requires you to be in-office three days a week. We offer a competitive salary ranging from £38,000 to £45,000 and an opportunity to grow within a leading institution in London as part of our Infrastructure & Operations Team. You will play a vital role in protecting our network infrastructure against cyber threats while supporting the development of our services and security operations.
