Must:
- Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence - Relevant security qualifications - Relevant infrastructure qualifications Experience: - Experience with Microsoft Stack including Microsoft 365 - Windows Server installation & configuration - Virtualisation - Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys - Knowledge of cloud platforms, both private and public, such as AWS & Azure - Experience with MDM, MFA, email filtering, next-generation firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and SIEM solutions like Sentinel Skills: - Ability to work independently and conduct research - Ability to work under pressure - Creative problem solving - Capability to work both independently and as part of a team - Strong communication and relationship-building skills - People-centric approach and service focus - Excellent conversational fluency in English to explain complex technical issues We understand it may be unrealistic for someone to meet all these criteria, which is why we seek individuals eager to grow through our development resources and peer learning. Responsibilities

As our new Security Consultant, you will play a critical role in enhancing our managed security services. You will: - Conduct security audits and vulnerability scans of our clients' environments using industry-standard tools. - Identify, document, and prioritize vulnerabilities, configuration weaknesses, and compliance gaps. - Support Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessments according to IASME and NCSC guidance. - Maintain and distribute monthly vulnerability reports, ensuring all remediation actions are completed and verified. Additionally, you will: - Remediate vulnerabilities using tools such as NinjaRMM, Group Policy, Microsoft Intune, or other approved solutions. - Implement best-practice hardening techniques across various platforms, including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, Linux, and firewalls. - Collaborate with our Security Operations and Infrastructure teams to ensure consistent patching and configuration management. In terms of customer engagement, you will: - Participate in customer meetings to present findings, advise on risk mitigation, and plan remediation efforts. - Create and maintain project plans, change control records, and technical documentation. - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear and trustworthy exchanges. ---
