Requirements
Must:
- CCNA or equivalent certification is essential.
- Experience with Juniper (JNCIA/JNCIS) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco and Aruba networking technologies.
- Background in an MSP, NOC, or NSP environment is preferred.
- Solid troubleshooting experience across routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Server knowledge (Windows/Linux) is beneficial.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be a British national and able to obtain Security Clearance (PV3).
Responsibilities
- I will provide 2nd line diagnosis and resolution of network and security issues.
- I will support and maintain customer systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- I will act as an escalation point for Tier 1 engineers.
- I will contribute to change management and IT service management processes.
- I will work directly with customers and internal project teams.
- I will participate in a 24/7 shift rota, including weekends, bank holidays, and on-call cover.
- I will engage in ongoing training and certification programmes to progress towards Tier 3.
