Requirements

Must:
To take on this role, I require a background in software engineering, software design, and architecture, along with an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers. You should have experience in solving highly complex, analytical and numerical problems, and be familiar with implementing programming best practices, particularly around code quality, scalability, automation, virtualization, optimization, availability, and performance. I expect you to have an excellent understanding of maintaining high standards in software development and code quality. Exposure to Cloud deployment, preferably with AWS, is essential. Additionally, you’ll need the following skills: - Experience working with development and testing tools, bug tracking tools, and wikis. - Proficiency in coding with Java 17 and above, Microservices or API development using Spring Boot, and containerization using Docker, as well as TDD/BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Selenium to ensure code quality. - Experience with relational and no-SQL databases such as Postgres and MongoDB. - Familiarity with CI/CD practices, preferably using GitLab or GitHub, using Helm Charts to deploy on AWS Kubernetes clusters. - Experience with KAFKA, MQ, or any other event-driven framework. - Experience with DevOps and Agile methodology, along with associated toolsets like JIRA or Confluence.

Your key responsibilities will include: - Producing complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality that adds value to the business. - Working in permanent teams responsible for the full life cycle, from initial development, enhancement, and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning. - Collaborating to optimize our software engineering capability. - Designing, producing, testing, and implementing our software solutions. - Operating across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design through coding to testing, deployment, and operations.
