We are looking for someone who has a strong foundation in data management and hands-on experience working with data. You should possess a solid understanding of Data Asset Management and IT Service Management. Your knowledge of data classification, standards, and regulations is essential for ensuring compliance and best practices in every aspect of your work. An ITIL-driven approach is preferred, along with adaptability, critical thinking, and a passion for continuous improvement. You should be a pragmatic and logical thinker capable of efficiently solving complex problems while maintaining a structured and strategic mindset. Excellent verbal communication skills are required to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity and collaboration. Proven prioritization skills to balance multiple responsibilities will also be necessary.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will take the lead in managing, maintaining, and evolving our Information Asset catalogues. You will ensure that these catalogues align with our policies and processes while supporting the business in understanding and utilizing data management tools and processes. You will provide support for the Information Asset Management service, resolving incidents and assisting users to enhance data management capabilities. Additionally, you will analyze, track, and report on data assets, ensuring accuracy and delivering clear, insightful reports. Your responsibilities will include investigating and resolving information-related queries and issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will also educate and advise business stakeholders on Data Asset Management procedures, ensuring best practices are followed. Furthermore, you will continuously develop your knowledge of emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to drive improvements in data governance.
